"The Bar Mitzvah Barrel"

This barrel is J&B's first private labeled release and is called "The Bar Mitzvah Barrel"! It is a 6.5 year MGP bourbon with a mash bill of 60% Corn, 36% Rye, and 4% Malted Barley.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: A balanced offering of pie crust (the kosher kind, made with vegetable shortening), honey, pecans, brown sugar and anise.
Palate: Starts out with corn pudding, followed by vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. There is a large shift in the back of the palate as it moves towards fruit notes of dark cherry and bramble berries.
Finish: Very long and complex, alternating between the fruit and spice flavors found in the palate.
