"Kings of Kiddush"

Released October, 2022

Age: ~5 years
Type: Straight rye
Proof: 117
Mash bill: 45% Corn/ 51% Rye/ 4% Malted Barley
Distillery: MGP
Bottler: Rossville Union

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Martinelli's apple juice, lavender, leather

Palate: Corn pudding hits first, followed by brown sugar and whipped cream. There's plenty of allspice and black pepper that contrasts heavily with the front of the palate, creating a complex journey through the flavor wheel. This continues at the back of the palate where it briefly conjures flavors of apple pie filling.

Finish: Medium in length, aligns well with the sweeter aspects of the palate.

Overall: This MGP rye lands boldly on the other side of many fruit-forward MGP ryes out there. It's a stand-out for old fashioneds and for a change-of-pace neat rye pour.
