Tasting notes:
Nose: lemon, burnt sugar and big herbal notes
Palate: This one starts out with a burst of mint and oregano, followed by the classic rye sweetness seen in MGP ryes. It takes a sharp turn in the back of the palate where barrel char predominates, accompanied by acidic notes of lemon and pomegranate molasses.
Finish: The flavors hang out for a while and are backed primarily by charred oak notes.
